Tchami (DJ)

Tchami (born May 12, 1985 in Paris ; actually Martin Joseph Leonard Bresso ) is a French DJ and music producer . Tchami is considered a pioneer of the Future House , a style of house .

Tchami's first EP, called Promesses , was released on December 5, 2013 via Fool's Gold Records . Both included tracks Shot Caller and Promesses were released again as singles on December 17, 2014 and January 4, 2015 under the Ministry of Sound label . On April 18, 2014, Tchami's debut single Untrue was released via Spinnin 'Records . During this time he was also active as a co-producer for house musician DJ Snake , including the chart hit Turn Down for What .

In 2015 Tchami founded his label Confession . In March, he announced an EP called After Life , which was released on December 22, 2015. In the same year his remix of the song You Know You Like It by AlunaGeorge found place on the soundtrack of the film We Are Your Friends . After eight months without publication, the single SIAW was released on August 18, 2016 as a free download on his own label. Prophecy followed in September as a new single.

On February 3rd, 2017 the track Adieu was released , which is believed to be included on a possible future EP. Another release is World To Me with singer MNEK and Fallin , a collaboration with DJ Taiki Nulight.

The single World To Me found its way to the public on July 7, 2017 and was accompanied by the announcement of a new EP.

On August 25, 2017, it was released under the name Revelations EP with six tracks, including the singles Adieu and World To Me that have already been released .

Tchami has been on a regular world tour since 2016, most recently with The Pardon My French Tour with DJ Snake and his solo tour The Prophecy Tour .

Together with the also French DJ Malaa, Tchami has been giving concerts worldwide with the Redemption Tour since the end of 2017 . In the course of the tour, the No Redemption EP with five tracks was released on April 4, 2018 .

In March 2020, Tchami had to cancel his Elevation solo tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic .
