Keemu (German Känno ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Lääneranna in Pärnu County (until 2017: rural municipality of Lihula in Lääne County ) in Estonia .

Keemu was separated from Matsalu as an independent village in January 2014 . It is right on Matsalu Bay .
The place belongs to the Matsalu National Park .
