Kinksi (German Kingse ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Lääneranna in Pärnu County (until 2017: rural municipality of Hanila in Lääne County ) in Estonia .
Population and location
The place has 31 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). They live in an area of 725 hectares. The distance to Haapsalu is 60 kilometers.
The place has been documented since 1564. It was on the important trade route to the island of Saaremaa .
The Karuse Church of St. Margaret is on the present-day territory of the village . The fortress church dates from the 13th century.
