Nurmsi (German also Nurmsi ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Lääneranna in Pärnu County (until 2017: rural municipality Hanila in Lääne County ), 12 kilometers east of the Virtsu port .

Description and history

The village has 44 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011).

In 1320 the village was sold by the Teutonic Order to the monastery in Padise under the name Normes .
