Võhma (Lääneranna)

Võhma (German Wöhma ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Lääneranna in Pärnu County (until 2017: rural municipality Lihula in Lääne County ) in Estonia .
Description and history
The place has 23 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is 39 kilometers southeast of Haapsalu .
North of Võhma the river Vigala ( Vigala jõgi ) flows into the river Kasari ( Kasari jõgi ).
During the municipal territorial reform in 1977, the northwestern village of Uluste was incorporated into Võhma. The future politician Jüri Uluots was born there in 1890 . From 1939 he was Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia.
