Parivere is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Lääneranna in Pärnu County (until 2017: rural municipality of Lihula in Lääne County ).

The place has 68 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located immediately south of the city of Lihula .

Parivere treasure

A treasure from the Viking Age was found near Parivere in 1924. It consists of Arabic coins, a Byzantine coin from the 10th century and a human-like pendant ( locks ) made of silver.

At the end of the 19th century, a bronze chain was found near the Tooma talu homestead , which was (allegedly) buried again and has since been lost.
