The Gäubote is a daily newspaper in the district of Böblingen for Herrenberg and the Gäu , the distribution area extending to the southern district of Böblingen and the municipality of Ammerbuch in the district of Tübingen and partly the town of Wildberg in the district of Calw . The newspaper is published by Th. Körner GmbH & Co. KG in Herrenberg. The sold circulation is 10,472 copies, a decrease of 18.8 percent since 1998. The Gäubote gets the supraregional part ( coat ) from the Stuttgarter Nachrichten .

As a member of the Württembergischer Verleger group, the newspaper publisher has a 0.3175% stake in Südwestdeutsche Medien Holding (SWMH).
