Gémeos is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Gémeos belongs to the Guimarães county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 1.52 km² and 452 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The community is predominantly urban.
On September 29, 2013, the communities of Gémeos and Abação (São Tomé) merged to form the new community of União das Freguesias de Abação e Gémeos .
