Gérard Jacques

Gérard Jacques (born April 1, 1928 in Roeselare ) is a Belgian ambassador a. D.

Life

Gérard Jacques was from 1951 to 1960 territorial administrateur of North Katanga in the Belgian Congo . Later he was Vice Consul in Zambia , Commercial Attaché in Paris , Counselor in Washington, then Consul General in Lille . From 1973 to 1975 he was ambassador to Tunis and 1985 to Cape Town . From 1989 to 1993 he was court marshal of the Belgian court under Baudouin I and in 1994 he had the same function under Albert II.
