Frank De Coninck

Frank De Coninck (* 1945 in Blankenberge ) is a former Belgian ambassador . D.

Life

From 1968 to 1975 he was a history teacher in Zaire . In 1975 he joined the foreign service. In 1975/76 he was accredited in Barcelona , Nairobi , Islamabad , the Holy See , Dakar and The Hague . From November 22, 1994 to August 28, 1997 Coninck was first as Ambassador to Kigali in Rwanda , then from August 28, 1997 to November 22, 2000 in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and finally from 2000 to 2002 as Ambassador at Large large lakes in Central Africa.

In 2001 Frank De Coninck was appointed Director General of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As the last marshal of the royal Belgian court, he administered the royal property: the court office was abolished when he moved to the Holy See .
