The Göckelberg is a 422.1 meter high mountain on the southeastern edge of the Frankenweide , as the middle part of the Palatinate Forest is called. It is located entirely within the district of Wilgartswiesen . The Queich flows past its southern flank . The ruins of the Wilgartaburg are also located on one of its eastern branches .
