Götz-Werner von Fromberg

Götz-Werner von Fromberg (born January 15, 1949 in Hanover ) is a Hanover-based German lawyer and notary .

Life

Fromberg has worked as a lawyer since 1975 and as a notary in Hanover since 1985. He has become known beyond the state capital of Lower Saxony through high-profile mandates . Through his mediation, the Hells Angels concluded a “peace treaty” with the competing Bandidos . Fromberg himself owns real estate in Hanover's Steintorviertel (a rectangle made up of Reuter-, Goethe-, Reitwallstraße and Am Marstall ), the local red light district , which was controlled by the Hells Angels until their charter there was dissolved in 2012. The former president of the Hells Angels in Hanover, Frank Hanebuth , is one of Fromberg's friends. Fromberg also shares a friendship with the former Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schröder , who worked as a lawyer until 2010 in a shared office with the v. Fromberg & Collegen was active.

From August 31, 2005 to July 16, 2006, Fromberg was the twelfth president of the Hannover 96 sports club . After disagreements in the club's management Fromberg resigned from the presidency. With Martin Kind , his predecessor also succeeded in this position.

In 2015 he announced that he would retire from his legal practice and only work as a notary.
