Götz Wendlandt

Götz Wendlandt (* 1940 ) is a German jazz and entertainment musician ( bass , piano , composition ).

Act

Wendlandt grew up in Berlin. During his studies (double bass) he got to know Horst Jankowski , with whom he worked for more than a decade and also went on international tours. He accompanied Jankowski on a total of twelve LPs and can also be heard on the hit Eine Schwarzwaldfahrt . There were performances with Caterina Valente from an early age .

In the 1960s, Wendlandt founded his own combo, with which he soon appeared in the ZDF show It plays for you ...! , later in fashion Cocktail , Funny Musicians , Family Musici or What if ... occurred. In the 1970s he played with the formation regularly in programs such as Musik ist Trumpf and Dalli Dalli , but also at the Landespresse-Ball in Stuttgart. He also wrote the theme song for the SWR show Fröhlicher Feierabend and worked with Wolfgang Dauner , Eugen Cicero , Roberto Blanco and Tony Marshall .
