The Güllübağ Dam is located on the Çoruh River in the northeast Turkish province of Erzurum .
The Güllübağ dam is located below the district town İspir . The dam was built in 2008–2012 to generate energy . The barrier structure is a gravity dam made of rolled concrete ( RCC dam ). The dam has a height of 71.5 m (above the foundation level) and has a volume of 150,000 m³. The crown length is 92 m. The 4.5 km long reservoir has a storage volume of 20 million m³.
The Güllübağ dam hydropower plant has three Francis turbines, each with an output of 32 megawatts . The hydraulic potential is 105 m. The standard work capacity is 313.9 GWh per year.
In 2013, two fourteen and seventeen year old boys were killed fishing in the reservoir. They drowned when water was drained.
