List of hydropower plants in Turkey
The hydropower plants in Turkey are shown both on a map and in a table (with key figures). The list is not complete.
River or river system
In January 2014 there were 458 hydropower plants in Turkey with a total installed capacity of 22,804 MW. Another 165 hydropower plants with a total output of 8,500 MW were under construction in 2015. On the Kızılırmak River alone , 9 hydropower plants have been built, with an installed capacity of 54 MW at the Kapulukaya Dam to 700 MW at the Altınkaya Dam . The following table lists the most important rivers (or river systems ).
