Installed capacity and annual production
In 2012 Turkey was 20th in the world in terms of annual generation with 228.1 billion kWh and 19th in the world for installed capacity with 53,860 MW.

Wind farms
At the end of 2014 there were wind turbines in Turkey with an installed capacity of 3,762.5 MW. According to The Wind Power , wind farms with a total output of 4,718 MW were in operation in Turkey at the end of 2015. As of October 2016, 152 wind farms were recorded in Turkey (but some of these are individual wind farms). The table shows the 5 largest wind farms according to installed capacity.
