The power plants in Sri Lanka are shown both on a map and in tables (with key figures).

Installed capacity and annual production

In 2014, was Sri Lanka concerning. The installed capacity of 3,400  MW in place 94 and with respect. Annual production of 12 billion  kWh in place 93 in the world. The degree of electrification was 94% in 2013 (99% in cities and 93% in rural areas).

Caloric power plants

The table only lists power plants with an installed capacity> 150 MW.

Wind farms

According to The Wind Power , wind turbines with a total output of 130 MW were in operation in Sri Lanka at the end of 2016 . As of October 2017, 15 wind farms were recorded in Sri Lanka (however, some of these are either individual wind farms or planned wind farms).
