The power plants in Ghana are shown both on a map and in tables (with key figures).

Installed capacity and annual production

In 2013, Ghana was in 90th place in the world in terms of annual generation with 12.87 billion kWh and in 96th place in the world for installed capacity with 2,847 MW.

In 2016, the electricity rationing that had been in place for several years was ended.
