In 2016 was Finland concerning. The installed capacity of 16.27  GW in place 50 and with respect. Annual production of 66.54 billion kWh in place 43 in the world. The degree of electrification was 100% in 2016. Finland was a net importer of electricity in 2016; it exported 3.159 billion kWh and imported 22.11 billion kWh.

Wind farms

At the end of 2013, wind turbines with an installed capacity of 448 MW were in operation in Finland . According to The Wind Power , wind turbines with a total output of 2,244 MW were recorded at the end of 2018 (in operation, under construction or planned). According to Wind power in Finland , wind farms with a total output of 2,041 MW were in operation at the end of 2018; in 2018 they generated 5.8 billion kWh and thus covered 6.7% of electricity consumption.
