Installed capacity and annual production

In 2015, Jordan was 83rd in the world in terms of installed capacity with 4,382  MW and 80th in terms of annual generation with 17.76 billion kWh . The degree of electrification was 99.5% in 2012.

According to The Wind Power , wind turbines with a total output of 119 MW were in operation in Jordan at the end of 2016 . As of August 2017, there are 6 wind farms in Jordan (some of them are either individual wind farms or planned wind farms).
