List of power plants in Kiribati
This is a list of the current, planned and former power plants in Kiribati .
The electricity supply in Kiribati is determined by the Public Utilities Board and the Kiribati Solar Energy Company provided. Both belong to the Ministry of Public Works and Utilities .
Kiribati is heavily dependent on imports of fossil fuels for the production of electricity from power generating sets. Photovoltaic systems with connection to the public power grid are planned nationwide (as of August 2017).
