The power plants in Argentina are shown both on a map and in tables (with key figures). The list is not complete.

Installed capacity and annual production

In 2016 was Argentina concerning. The installed capacity of 38,350  MW in place 27 and with respect. Annual production of 131.9 billion  kWh in place 30 in the world. The degree of electrification in 2013 was 96.4% (99.2% in cities and 96% in rural areas).

According to the Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica (CNEA), the installed capacity of the power plants in Argentina was 37,652 MW , of which caloric power plants accounted for 24,396 MW (64.8%), hydropower plants 11,265 MW (29.9%) and nuclear power plants 1,755 MW (4.66%).
