The rampart Mettermich is an Outbound prehistoric ring wall ( Wallburg ) at 577  m above sea level. NHN on the Mettermich about 2000 meters northwest of Schondra in the Bad Kissingen district in Bavaria .

Remnants of walls and moats are still preserved from the former castle complex with an area of ​​350 × 130 m . They rise steeply to the summit and are very impassable. Finds on the Mettermich point to the La Tène period and suggest a defensive structure or a fortress .
