The Postal Thundorf is a Outbound medieval hilltop castle at 307  m on the castle hill near the cemetery above the village of Thun village, now part of the municipality Thundorf in Franconia in the district of Bad Kissingen in Bavaria .

The castle was built in the middle of the 12th century by the Knights of Thundorf. In the 14th and 15th centuries, the Lords of Schaumberg lived in this Ganerbeburg until the castle complex was destroyed in the course of the peasant uprising . 1480 Schaumberger left in the valley, the moated castle Schloss Thun village build.

Small remnants of the ramparts are still preserved from the former castle.
