List of hydropower plants in Finland

The hydroelectric plants in Finland are shown both on a map and in a table (with key figures). The list is not complete.

Installed capacity and annual production

There are over 200 hydropower plants in Finland ; most of them are smaller systems. The company Kemijoki Oy operates 20 hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity of over 1,100  MW , of which 16 are in the catchment area of the Kemijoki . The annual generation in 2016 was 5.74 billion  kWh . Fortum operates 11 hydropower plants in the Oulujoki catchment area .
