The hydropower plants in Switzerland are shown both on a map and in a table (with key figures). The list is not complete.

Installed capacity and annual production

As of January 2020, there were a total of 674 hydropower plants with an installed capacity of > 0.3 MW in Switzerland . The installed capacity of these hydropower plants is 18,016 MW, the average annual generation is 36.567 billion kWh. The share of hydropower in electricity generation is around 57%.
