List of hydropower plants in Spain

The hydropower plants in Spain are shown both on a map and in a table (with key figures). The list is not complete.

Installed capacity and annual production

In Spain there were hydropower plants in 2008 with a total installed capacity of 19,015 MW. Their share in the total installed capacity of 94,761 MW this year was 20.1%. In rainy years, their annual production can exceed 40 billion kWh, while in dry years it is less than 25 billion kWh.
