Valsot ( Rhaeto-Romanic for Lower Valley ) is the name of a merged municipality in the Lower Engadine , the Engiadina Bassa / Val Müstair region in the canton of Graubünden , Switzerland. It was created on January 1, 2013 from the communities Ramosch and Tschlin .
,The project was launched with an information event in mid-June 2009 under the name Ramosch-Tschlin. On October 21, 2011, the merger agreement was approved in both community meetings. In April 2012, the Grisons Grand Council (cantonal parliament) approved the merger.

- Barblan family. Grisons family von Vnà (today the municipality of Valsot), who produced various teachers, pastors and important artists in the 19th and 20th centuries.
- Florian Barblan (* 1834 in Vnà; † 1896 there), Otto's father, was a forester, teacher and school inspector and published Rhaeto-Romanic songs.
- Otto Barblan (born March 22, 1860 in S-chanf ; † December 19, 1943 in Geneva ), composer and organist
- Gaudenz Barblan (1860–1916), teacher at the Plantahof agricultural school.
