The Karakaya Dam on the Euphrates near Malatya is a dam in Turkey.

The dam was built between 1976 and 1987 as an arched weight wall. It is 173 m high above its foundation and 158 m above the river bed. The hydropower plant has six 300 MW Francis turbines . The standard work capacity is 7354 GWh per year.
