The Yamula Dam ( Turkish: Yamula Barajı ) is located in Central Anatolia - 25 km north of the provincial capital Kayseri on the Kızılırmak River .
The dam, located in the Turkish province of Kayseri , was implemented as an operator model in 2000–2005 . The 542 m long rock embankment dam with a clay core is 115 m high (above the foundation level) and has a volume of 6.519 million m³. The associated reservoir has a storage volume of 3476 million m³. The usable storage volume is 2025 million m³. The hydroelectric power plant of Yamula Dam has two 52 MW - Francis turbines (with vertical axis). The hydraulic potential is 96.5 m. The standard work capacity is 423 GWh per year. Down the river is the Bayramhacı Dam .
