Günter Böddeker (born July 27, 1933 in Paderborn ; † June 9, 2012 in Buchholz in the Nordheide ) was a German journalist and publicist .

Life

Böddeker studied social sciences (diploma). He then worked as a journalist. From 1985 to 1994 he was deputy editor-in-chief of Welt am Sonntag . In 1995/96 he was editor-in-chief . He published several books on World War II .
