Günter Barton (* 1955 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German actor .

biography

Günter Barton received his training at the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg . He also studied singing at the Cologne University of Music . His engagements led him to a. to the Theater an der Wien, the Thalia Theater and the Renaissance Theater Berlin, where he worked with directors such as George Tabori , Jérôme Savary and Michael Schottenberg. In Berlin he made a name for himself as one of the Comedian Harmonists (Harry Frommermann), the greatest Ku'damm success in recent years - awarded the Golden Curtain and the Berlin Bear (BZ Culture Prize) .

Barton became known to a wide audience for his role as Gert Weinbauer in the series Lindenstrasse . Twenty years later, he briefly returned to the series to portray his character's suicide.

In 2003, he played the role of Rainer Specht in some episodes (2671) of Gute Zeiten, Schleud Zeiten.

In 2009 he joined the new daily soap Eine wie keine . He played the hotel owner Julius Aden , who died of heart failure in 2010. Between mid-November 2014 and the end of January 2015 he was seen as Harro Helmke in the daily soap Verbotene Liebe , and from late May to early August 2015 he played the role of Hermann Stürzebecher in the telenovela Sturm der Liebe .

Günter Barton, who also works as a speaker, lives with his family in Berlin .
