Günter Behnert
Günter Behnert (born July 6, 1930 in Zwickau ; † May 23, 2015 there ) was a German miner , university lecturer and author.
Life
After graduating from school, Behnert started working as a chopper in the Zwickau coal mining industry . From 1959 to 1960 he completed a special technical degree at the mining engineering school "Georgius Agricola" in Zwickau. He later became a university lecturer. From 1999 he wrote three books with humorous stories from everyday miners.
