Günter Fleskes

Günter Fleskes (born April 5, 1945 in Fahrdorf ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

After completing secondary school, Fleskes attended an agricultural school and studied at a higher agricultural school with a degree as a "state-certified farmer" and the University of Education in Flensburg with the first and second state exams as a teacher. In 1970 Fleskes joined the SPD. In 1971 he was elected to the Nordstrand parish council and in 1988 became mayor of the parish. In the same year he was elected to the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein in the Husum-Land constituency. In the 1992 election he won the direct mandate again and was a member of the state parliament until the end of the 1996 election period. In 1998 he moved into the state parliament again as a replacement for Hans Wiesen via the SPD state list .

Fleskes is married and has two children.
