Günter Krosse (born January 7, 1950 ) is a former German football player who was active in 1981 for the BSG Chemie BUNA Schkopau in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

At the age of 22, Günter Krosse joined the company sports association (BSG) Chemie BUNA Schkopau in 1972 , whose first soccer team was represented in the third-rate Halle district league . With her he rose to the GDR league after the 1972/73 season . By the winter break of the 1973/74 season, Krosse played twelve of the thirteen GDR league games played and was successful with five goals. At the beginning of the second half of the season, Hallesche FC Chemie (HFC) , the district's football focus, brought Krosse into its squad. The Halle residents were relegated from the GDR league in the previous season and were aiming for immediate promotion. The project was successful, but Krosse only had a small share with two point game stakes and participation in one of the eight promotion games. The league season 1974/75 took place without Krosse, the HFC used him without exception in his district league team HFC II, with which he rose to the GDR league at the end of the season. Also in 1975/76 he was part of the squad of the second team, with whom he played six GDR league games in the first half of the season. During the winter break, Krosses contract with HFC was canceled and he returned to Chemie BUNA Schkopau. There he was used by the end of the season in another nine GDR league games, in which he scored four goals after being goalless in Halle. Then Krosse was a regular for the Schkopauer for four seasons. Of the 88 league games played in this period, he completed 87 games and scored 17 goals. With seven goals he was the top scorer at BSG Chemie in 1979. When this made promotion to the league in the 1980/81 season, Krosse was only there in eleven point games, but completed six of the eight promotion games. But he remained without a goal during the entire season. When Krosse started his only league season in 1981/82, he was already 31 years old. Up to the tenth game day he played nine point games as a midfielder, with his only league goal on the first game day in the 2: 4 away defeat against BSG Wismut Aue, the 1-0 lead for his team. In the second half of the season Krosse was no longer used in the league, and Schkopau rose again after only one year of first division football. Krosse was nominated again for the 1982/83 GDR league season, but was not used. In the summer of 1983, the end of his footballing career was announced. Between 1973 and 1981 Günter Krosse had played nine games and scored one goal in the GDR league, in the GDR league he had been called up in 127 matches and was successful with 26 goals. In a total of 16 successful promotion games to the league, he was used seven times, but had not scored a goal.
