Günter lamp
Günter Lampe (born July 25, 1925 in Weimar ; † September 19, 2003 there ) was a German composer .
Lamp went to school in Weimar , where 1943 he the Notabitur received and then Reichsarbeitsdienst was drafted and Wehrmacht. After his release from American captivity, he studied clarinet and composition at the "Franz Liszt" Academy of Music in Weimar from 1947 to 1951 . His composition teachers included Ottmar Gerster and Helmut Riethmüller .
After a brief activity as resident composer and musical director of the actors' group “Das Junge Ensemble” (headed by Maxim Vallentin ), from 1952 to 1990 he worked as a lecturer for theory and composition at the Weimar Academy of Music.
His work mainly includes chamber music and teaching literature, but also symphonic music, songs and music for folk instruments ( accordion , guitar , plucked orchestra, etc.).
