Günter Marquard
Günter Marquard (born April 18, 1924 in Berlin ; † April 17, 2016 ) was a German journalist .
Career
From 1946 Marquard was an editor at the Rheinische Zeitung in Cologne. In 1947 he moved to the Berliner Stadtblatt as head of department and in 1951 as head of the service at RIAS . In 1955 he became head of the news department of the broadcaster Free Berlin (SFB).
He was also state chairman of the art union in the DGB .
