Günter Panke

Günter Panke (born January 29, 1929 in Arnswalde , Pomerania ) is a former German party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . There he was chairman of the Schwerin district board and member of the Schwerin district assembly .

Life

Panke learned the trade of a commercial clerk. He studied at the German Academy for Political Science and Law and graduated with a degree in political science.

Panke was a member of the NDPD and temporarily deputy chairman of the council of the Hagenow district , later of the council of the Perleberg district . In the local elections in the GDR in 1970 , he ran as NDPD district secretary of Perleberg for the district council of Perleberg. From January 1971 to 1989 Panke acted as chairman of the Schwerin district board of the NDPD and was a member of the main committee of the NDPD from 1972 to 1990.

From 1971 Panke was also a member of the Schwerin District Assembly .
