Günter Rippel

Günter Rippel (born September 6, 1943 in Gerten , Podersam district ) is a former President of the Chamber of Crafts.

Career

Rippel attended elementary and high school and then did an apprenticeship as a road builder. He studied civil engineering at the Johannes Kepler University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg and in 1966 earned the degree of graduate engineer. In the same year he joined the Isar-Amperwerke power plant construction department . In 1969 he moved to his parents' civil engineering company, which he took over in 1980 as sole managing partner. From 1980 to 1987 he was head master of the Schwabach - Roth - Hilpoltstein construction guild and during this time also a member of the board of the Central Franconian District Craftsmen's Association. In 1987 he became Vice President of the Chamber of Crafts for Middle Franconia , of which he was President from 1989 to 1997. He was also on the board of the Bavarian Crafts Day , on the Presidium and on the Crafts Council of the Central Association of German Crafts , on the Supervisory Board of NürnbergMesse and from 1992 to 1997 in the Bavarian Senate .
