Günter Schubert (journalist)
Günter Schubert (born September 3, 1929 in Berlin ; † August 27, 2014 ) was a German journalist and historian .
Schubert received his doctorate in 1960 at the Free University of Berlin with a thesis on "The Beginnings of National Socialist Foreign Policy 1919–1923". He was a long-time ZDF correspondent in Warsaw . Günter Schubert is known as a historian, among other things, for his research on Jewish refugees in the USA . He died in August 2014, shortly before his 85th birthday.
