Günther Arnberger (born April 17, 1992 in Vienna ) is an Austrian soccer goalkeeper who is currently guarding the goal in the Lower Austria regional league at SV Langenrohr .

Career

Arnberger started his career at Hellas Kagran . After playing at FC Stadlau , he joined the youth team of FK Austria Wien in 2002 , for whom he later played in the academy. In November 2009 he made his debut against FC Wacker Innsbruck for the second team of Austria in the second division . In February 2010 he was for the first time in the Bundesliga squad of Austria Wien. With the second team he had to play in the Regionalliga Ost from the 2010/11 season, as second teams had been excluded from Austrian professional football.

In July 2013 he was awarded to the second division club First Vienna FC 1894 . With Vienna he had to relegate to the regional league at the end of the season. In the summer of 2014 he was firmly committed. In the summer of 2015 he was signed by the Lower Austrian national league club SV Langenrohr . Shortly before the end of the 2016/17 season he received the award "Goalkeeper of the Year" from the state of Lower Austria .
