Günther Kummetz
Günther Kummetz (* before 1905 ; † 1990 ) was a German ice hockey and hockey player . He is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame Germany .
Career
Günther Kummetz was a member of SC Brandenburg in 1929 as a player in the national field hockey team and in 1930 in the national ice hockey team at the 1930 World Cup and won the silver medal with her. As the best European team, he was also European champion with Germany.
He played at club level
- in ice hockey for the Berlin SchC , with which he won the German championship in 1931 , and the SC Brandenburg , with which he was again German champion in 1934
- in field hockey in addition to SC Brandenburg for the Berlin HC , with which he became German champions in 1941 and 1942 .

Later he turned to equestrian sport and together with Fred Petermann published the book "75 Years of Berlin Trabrennsport" (Ffm. Steinkopf., 1953)
