Günther Müller-Stöckheim (* December 17, 1913 in Klein-Stöckheim as Günther Müller; † July 16, 1943 in the western Atlantic in the Sargasso Sea ) was a German naval officer in the Reich and Kriegsmarine before and during the Second World War . Most recently he held the rank of corvette captain .

Müller joined the Reichsmarine on April 8, 1934 and was assigned to the 4th Company of the 2nd Ship Mastery Department of the Baltic Sea in Stralsund until June 15 . There he got his basic infantry training. Following this, he completed his military training, which he completed on September 4, 1937 as a lieutenant at sea . Thereafter, Müller was an artillery officer on the Schlesien from September 5, 1937 to April 28, 1938 . He held his position as a group officer at the Mürwik Naval School until February 28, 1940. From June 9 to July 2, 1941, Müller completed a commanders course, after which he became commander of U 67 on July 3 .
