Günther Sewald

Günther Sewald (born April 12, 1905 in Niklasdorf ; † November 25, 1949 ) was a German CDU politician .

Sewald was born the son of a farmer. After the state examination in agriculture, he took over the inherited Tadelwitz estate in the Frankenstein district in Silesia in 1937 . After being expelled from Poland in 1946, he settled in Groß-Recken in Westphalia and worked on the district, district and state refugee council.

Sewald was a member of the Bundestag from the first federal election until his death . He was elected via the state list of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) in North Rhine-Westphalia .
