Günther Wölfle

Günther Ernst Wölfle (born October 14, 1951 in Kirchheim unter Teck ) is a Swabian musician, songwriter and singer of blues and rock music with Swabian lyrics.

Life

Günther Wölfle was born in Kirchheim unter Teck and grew up there.

In 1973 he began studying law in Tübingen . In this year the first Swabian texts and songs were written. He gained first notoriety after the songwriting competition at Süddeutscher Rundfunk (SDR) in 1975. There he achieved second place with the songs "I would like to be a rock star" and "Skat-Blues". In Tübingen he came into contact with many artists, musicians and songwriters. With Uli Keuler , Günter H. Tomaske, Rolf Linnemann , Wolle Kriwanek , Kuretitsch, Lassahn and Virch, Thommie & Tomaske (later Thommie Bayer Band) and Thomas Felder , he performed at the popular “Open Stage” evenings in the Jazzkeller and Club Voltaire .

In 1978 he released his first album "I would like to be a rock star" under the label of the EMI Group . Between 1977 and 1982 he toured Germany with, among others, guitarist Harry Häussel, with whom he also recorded his second album "Live - I believe i get old so slowly". In 1982 Günther Wölfle began working as a lawyer in Kirchheim unter Teck.

After a good 30 years, Günther Wölfle and Harry Häussel had their comeback in the Hirsch culture pub in Glems and then at the Reutlingen Dialect Weeks. The new songs "Stuttgart21" and "App-Wahn" were played for the first time. From 2017 Wölfle toured with Dieter Hildenbrand on the double bass .

Günther Wölfle works in a law firm as a specialist lawyer for criminal law , tenancy law and residential property law in Böblingen .
