Günther Wollscheid

Günther Wollscheid (born October 17, 1926 in Trier ; † February 9, 2006 in Gillenfeld ) was a German teacher and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Wollscheid attended elementary school, teacher training institute and educational academy. In 1941 he was a student at the Trier teacher training college, in 1942 he was a student at the Ettelbrück teacher training college and leader of the Followers 4/767 Ettelbrück (1943 senior comrade leader). In 1949 he took his first and in 1953 his second exam. In 1947 he became a teacher at the Winkel elementary school ( Daun district ), and in 1963 headmaster of the Gillenfeld secondary school. From 1969 to 1975 he was a school councilor in Bitburg-Prüm and Daun with the title of senior government school councilor.

politics

During the Nazi era, Wollscheid was a member of the German Young People from 1935 and from 1940 to 1941 he was the leader of a young train under the spell of Trier. In 1944, at the age of 18, he joined the NSDAP .

1964 to 1971 he was chairman of the Gillenfeld CDU community association. In 1970 he became a member of the state party committee of the CDU Rhineland-Palatinate, in 1971 a member of the CDU district executive in Trier and chairman of the CDU district association in Daun. From 1982 he was a member of the CDU district association in Trier.

From 1966 to 1985 he was a member and 1970 to 1985 CDU parliamentary group chairman in the Daun district assembly. In 1974 he became a member of the Daun district committee. Until 1970 he was a member of the Gillenfeld office and then from 1970 to 1979 a member of the Daun municipal council.

From May 20, 1975 to May 20, 1991 he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . In the state parliament he was chairman of the media policy committee in the 10th and 11th electoral terms. In 1989 he was a member of the 9th Federal Assembly .
