Güven ( Kurmanji : Bacin) is a Yazidi village in southeastern Turkey . The village is located about 8 km south of Midyat in the Midyat district of the same name in the Mardin province . The place is located in the Tur Abdin mountain range in south-eastern Anatolia .

History and population

The original name of the village is Bacin (or Bacinê). The villages were renamed as a result of the Turkishization of geographical names in Turkey . Today Güven is mostly an abandoned village. The village had an exclusively Yazidi population.
