Allin's grave in Littleton, New Hampshire

Kevin Michael "GG" Allin (born Jesus Christ Allin ; born August 29, 1956 in Lancaster , New Hampshire , † June 28, 1993 in New York City , New York ) was an American rock and punk musician .

Life

His shows, which he played just like his recordings with constantly changing fellow musicians, were extreme performances with the involvement of the audience; Among other things, he attacked his audience, mutilated himself on stage, ate his own excrement or masturbated.

The lyrics of his songs mostly dealt with violence, hatred of people and brutal sexual fantasies with blood, urine and feces and did not shy away from child rape and murder and rape of one's own family.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s he was a guest on many talk shows in which he shared his vision of a mission for rock 'n' roll : he wanted to bring "the danger back to rock n roll" , the war in rock Explain 'n'-Roll underground and present his intention that he would commit suicide on stage and want to "take" as much of the audience with him as possible.

Kevin Michael Allin aka GG Allin died in New York in 1993 after a concert that had been canceled prematurely from a heroin overdose .
