The GAC Trumpchi GS 8 is a sport utility vehicle of the GAC Trumpchi sub-brand of the Chinese Guangzhou Automobile Group .
history
The brand's largest SUV was presented at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2016 . Sales of the seven-seater began in China in October 2016. The vehicle has also been sold in Russia since December 2019 . There it is the manufacturer's first model. Originally, the SUV should also be offered in the United States , but due to the trade conflict between the United States and the People's Republic of China , GAC Motor abandoned the project in May 2019.
