The GAC Trumpchi GA 5 is a sedan of the middle class of the sub-brand GAC Trumpchi the Chinese Guangzhou Automobile Group .
history
In China, the vehicle was launched in December 2010 as the GAC Trumpchi based on the Alfa Romeo 166 with a 110 kW Twin Spark engine. In December 2012, a revised version was introduced, which was given the addition of GA 5 , as the GAC Trumpchi GS 5 was another model of the brand on the market. The GAC Trumpchi GA 5 REV followed in December 2014 , a variant with a plug-in hybrid drive and an electric range of around 80 kilometers. The limousine was not available outside of China.
At the beginning of 2018, the GAC Trumpchi GA 4 replaced the GA 5.
